Crystal Ball Bitbucket Tracking and GitHub Tracking Automation: Benefits and How to Use

Updated: Mar 12, 2023

For developers, keeping repositories for every project is as crucial as writing the code. Otherwise, several hours or days could be spent writing the same code for a similar project. This could be for a website project, app project, logistics system or statistical tools.

To be on the safe side, savvy developers use Bitbucket or GitHub to keep and manage their code repository. In this way, they can always return to any project code for any modification or use for future projects. Also, they can share the repository with other team members in an easy and efficient manner.

Crystal Ball has made things easier by creating Bitbucket and GitHub tracking annotations, where companies and individuals can track their repositories on Bitbucket and GitHub with ease. Given the vast number of repositories for running business operations, you want proper code documentation and organization.

Learn more about what you can do with Crystal Ball Bitbucket and GitHub tracking automation below:

What are Bitbucket and GitHub Tracking automation?

The Bitbucket and GitHub tracking automation on Crystal Ball enables companies and developers to track, keep and manage repositories for different projects. A user may choose to use Bitbucket tracking or GitHub tracking, depending on their preferred source. And if you have been using the two platforms, you can conveniently track both on Crystal Ball.

Once you link your GitHub or Bitbucket to the appropriate tracking automation, you can add as many repositories as needed to your list. In this way, you can track your event once any code commit is made.

In this way, you and your team can track the latest development by date, name of the event, time, and Google analytics property. Also, users can read a short description of the repository for easy identification.
